The RCMP is trying to identify a man with whom a patrol officer recently had an encounter.
Deer Lake RCMP say the incident in question occurred on the Main Road in Pollard’s Point around 8:00 p.m. last Tuesday, August 25th.
RCMP say police were unable to properly identify the man during their interaction and a turning to the public for some help.
The man was heavy-set, and about 40 years old with a full, dark-brown beard.
At the time he was wearing a black t-shirt, a black and white pair of shorts and a black and white ball cap.
RCMP have released a photo of the man in hopes of identifying him.
