It was a real who’s who for the RNC last night after they stopped a car in the centre city area of St. John’s.

The driver gave officers a false name, so it didn’t take long to learn his driver’s license had been suspended. After further investigation, they found that the 43-year-old was not supposed to be with his female passenger.

Police also learned that the 36-year-old woman in the passenger seat, who also gave a false name, was not supposed to be in the company of the man who was driving.

Authorities hauled each to the lockup and charged them with breaching court orders and public mischief.
