A 51-year-old woman has been charged following an armed robbery at a jewelry store in the city’s east end back in August.
RNC were contacted after a woman held up the store on Aberdeen Avenue on August 4th.
The suspect showed staff a weapon and demanded jewelry – fleeing the scene with more than $16,000 worth of merchandise.
The woman was arrested yesterday and is facing a number of weapons-related charges.
She’s scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
