The victim of a brutal knife attack in Corner Brook a few weeks ago that left him bloodied and hospitalized is not impressed with what went down in court Friday regarding the accused.
Doug Payne, the owner of Downtown Entertainment, was stabbed five times by a man as he was closing up his store. He did not know his attacker.
Gregg Musakanda was granted bail Friday at Provincial Court in Corner Brook with an order to appear again November 17. The charges include aggravated assault, disguise with intent and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
In a post to Facebook, Payne says he did not survive five stab wounds and lose that much blood, only for someone to get $500 bail and be out on curfew.
