After 45 long days, a dog missing in the woods near Gander has finally been reunited with its owners.
Reid, a large Bernese mountain dog – poodle cross ran into the woods following a car crash on the Trans Canada near Gander in late August.
Since that time there had been extensive searches and numerous sightings, but Reid remained elusive.
Finally, owner Marisa Reid posted the happy news early yesterday morning that Reid was finally back with his family.
As of yesterday, pictures were already being posted of the dog relaxing at home, seemingly none-the-worse for his lengthy ordeal.
