The polls are now open in the Humber-Gros Morne byelection, as the district sets out to send a new member to the House of Assembly.
Dwight Ball resigned the seat earlier this year so that Premier Andrew Furey could try to win a seat and get into the house.
Deer Lake Deputy Mayor Mike Goosney is representing the PCs, NL Alliance leader Graydon Pelley is in the running, and Graham Downey-Sutton is representing the NDP.
Polls close at 8 p.m.
