Bell Aliant officials are continuing their investigation into a fibre cut in Paradise early this morning that knocked out home phone and internet service to a large area.
Reports indicate that the outage affected Bell Aliant customers as far away as St. Mary’s Bay and Placentia Bays.
Bell Aliant says some progress has been made on the restoration of home service, and the internet outage is limited to the Paradise area.
Depending on the complexity of repairs, it may be a while before an update on the restoration of full services is available according to Bell Aliant.
