Members of the United Steelworkers are being invited to a series of information sessions in Arnold’s Cove tomorrow for an update on the status of the Come By Chance refinery.
Last week it was learned that a deal with Irving to purchase the facility had fallen through.
Despite the uncertainty, provincial Energy Minister Andrew Parsons indicated in the House of Assembly last week that other companies, including Origin International, were interested in the refinery.
To meet public health requirements, five separate information sessions are planned tomorrow at the Lions Club in Arnold’s Cove.
Members are asked to pre-register today.
