A man found badly injured on Spencer Street this week is listed in stable condition in hospital.
RNC were called to the scene around 9:30 Wednesday morning after area residents reported screaming before a man collapsed in the road.
Police markers identified a trail of blood at the scene. The victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are in the early stages of their investigation into the incident and are asking anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
