A young man was arrested following an assault in the metro area early Sunday morning.
Shortly before 3:30 a.m., RNC responded to reports of a disturbance in downtown St. John’s.
After an investigation, a 20-year-old man was arrested for assault.
The victim’s injuries were not of a serious nature according to police.
The man was held for court, and the investigation is continuing.
