The provincial government has extended the deadline for the final report by the Workplace Health and Safety Compensation Statutory Review by three months.

The original deadline was today, but due to delays brought on by the pandemic, a new extended deadline of March 31 has been granted.

This will allow for sufficient time to review their materials and analyze the cost of potential recommendations.

The aim of the review is to find efficiencies and strengthen the workers’ compensation system.
