Memorial University is on track for staff to return to campus Monday, February 1, according to a post today by the two vice-presidents Dr. Mark Abrahams and Kent Decker.
MUN assures that its campuses are safe and that they have followed all public health guidelines.
When the original plan for staff to return to campus was announced in November, it included a gradual approach with the intention of further expansion in 2021.
The short spike of COVID cases in November did not continue and has since decreased, so MUN is implementing a full return to campus. It applies to all staff but there are limited exceptions.
At this time, all employees should work with their supervisor to determine their individual plan to return to campus. For example, some units may decide to bring employees back to campus earlier than February 1.
There will be limited food services available on February 1.
