The owner of the Newfoundland Growlers ECHL hockey team, Dean MacDonald, sees lots of potential in secondary markets.
He says they’re in price negotiations on a stadium and Triple-A baseball team somewhere in the southeast US, and they’re also working with partners in the US on Nascar.
MacDonald says those efforts have been hampered to a degree by travel restrictions.
