About $1.7-million in illegal cannabis products were seized last year, according to the NLC.
In its year-end update, the corporation says it worked with local law enforcement and Canada Post to investigate 27 files relating to contraband product.
Acting on warrants, the NLC says 148 kilos of cannabis products were taken off the streets.
Since legalization in 2018, the NLC estimates some $4.8-million of contraband cannabis has been seized by its Regulatory Compliance and Enforcement team.
