WorkplaceNL has launched a new app that they hope will improve the safety of workplaces by breaking down barriers in understanding Occupational Health and Safety legislation.

Dennis Hogan, the CEO of WorkplaceNL, says putting OHS information at the fingertips of workers and supervisors will help prevent work-related illness and injury.

The Guide to OHS Legislation app was developed with clear language and ease of use at top of mind.

It currently features a number of topics from confined space entry and working alone to psychological health and safety, with more topics slated for release later this year.

The app is available for download on the Apple and Android app stores.
