The situation in Grand Falls-Windsor continues to deteriorate.

The union representing workers at the town is calling on the town’s Chief Administrative Officer to attend negotiations in person.

CUPE Local 1349 is asking that Darren Finn not “disguise his role in the bargaining process” and to show up in person. It says the town is hiding behind unnecessary layers of bureaucracy.

The union is insisting that Finn conduct negotiations in person.

Grand Falls-Windsor locked out the union a little over a month ago. They are nowhere near a deal for the 100 employees.
