Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting 12 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today.
Nine of the cases are in the Eastern Health region with three of those related to travel and six either under investigation or contacts of previous cases.
The other three cases are in the Labrador-Grenfell region and are all contacts of previously identified cases.
There have been seven new recoveries, with three in the Eastern Health region and four in Western Health, as well as one person in hospital and 45 active cases overall.
The investigation into a cluster of cases in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region is ongoing, with 15 confirmed cases. The same goes for the investigation into a cluster in the Western Health region where seven cases have been confirmed.
As well, the investigation into a cluster of cases in the Eastern Health region continues with five confirmed cases to date. As part of that investigation, Public Health is asking anyone who visited the following locations, at the times noted, to arrange to test:

•Winners 60 Aberdeen Avenue, St. John’s on Thursday, September 2 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
•Blue on Water, 319 Water Street, St. John’s on Thursday, September 2 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
•Staples, 65 Kelsey Drive, St. John’s on Friday, September 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
•Canadian Tire, 50 Kelsey Drive, St. John’s on Friday, September 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
•Liquor Store, 43 Kelsey Drive, St. John’s on Friday, September 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
•Yellow Belly Brewery & Public House, 288 Water Street, St. John’s on Saturday, September 4 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
