The English School District says it is aware of a disturbing incident outside PWC which was captured on video.

The incident occurred in a wooded area outside the school on September 23rd. The video shows a person on the ground who is set upon by three others. One person is crouched over the victim and can be seen punching them repeatedly in the head.

The victim’s mother tells VOCM News her child suffered a concussion and numerous cuts and bruises as a result.

The RNC are investigating.

The school board says while it cannot speak directly to the matter for privacy reasons, a school investigation is underway and preliminary disciplinary measures have been taken. Further measures are possible.

The school district says it will work directly with the families involved to provide an opportunity for healing and restoration.
