A verdict is expected tomorrow in the case of a Brigus man accused of sexual assault at the Bay Roberts Retirement Centre.
44-year-old Chris Power is accused of fondling the genitals of an elderly male resident while the man was asleep.
The incident is alleged to have occurred late one night in August of last year.
Power, a personal care worker, was also charged with falsifying and uttering forged documents, and passing himself off as a licensed practical nurse.
He has since pleaded guilty to those charges.
Sentencing for those offences, as well as a verdict on the sexual assault charge, will be delivered by Judge Jacqueline Brazil in Harbour Grace provincial court tomorrow.
Power has remained free on court-imposed conditions since being charged last year
