A lot of kids are going to have full bellies as they head to the classroom after the VOCM/Kids Eat Smart Radiothon today.
Over $311,000 was raised.

We opened up the lines and collected for an organization which provides over 31,000 free meals a day to kids who might otherwise have to learn on an empty stomach.
About one in three kids go to school hungry for various reasons, including not having the time to eat in the morning, having to go on a long bus ride, or simply not having much food at home.
