Growlers Take 3-1 Series Lead Over Lions

The Newfoundland Growlers are one win away from closing out their first round playoff matchup against the Trois-Rivieres Lions.

The Growlers picked up a 5 to 2 victory against the Lions last night to take a commanding 3 to 1 lead in the series. Goaltender Keith Petruzzelli made 30 saves in the win.

The team will look to close it out tomorrow night in Quebec at 8:30 NDT.
