The Dogs Rugby Football Club has introduced a new program to attract more girls to the sport of rugby.
The club will host a Try Rugby Day this Sunday, June 5 for girls 12 to 15 years old. It will take place at the Dogs Rugby Field on Ruth Avenue in Mount Pearl, and no former rugby experience is necessary.
The Dogs developed the ShePlays! program in collaboration with Truro Saints Rugby Club in hopes of increasing the number of girls involved in the sport.
