Police found a wanted man drunk in downtown St. John’s last night.

Around 2:00 a.m. police were on patrol in the downtown, when they saw an intoxicated man. After speaking with the man and positively identifying him, police found that a warrant had been issued for his arrest.

The 27-year-old was arrested and conveyed for court in the morning.
