Police in New-Wes-Valley are investigating after construction signs were stolen in the town sometime last week.
According to the RCMP, the signs were stolen sometime between August 8th and 12th.
They were reported missing by ANW construction from a waterline infrastructure construction zone on the main road leading into the town.
The signs are easily identifiable, with the company’s initials stenciled on the rear in black lettering.
The types of signs stolen include Construction Ahead, Reduced Speeds, No Passing, and Construction Zone Ends.
Police say the theft not only means a financial loss for the company, but also creates safety issues for workers and the public.
Anyone with information should contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
