The emergency department at the Dr. William H. Newhook Community Health Centre in Whitbourne is going to be closed for an entire week because of staffing issues.
Eastern Health says ER services will be unavailable from 8 a.m. this coming Monday morning to 8 a.m. Monday, September 5.
Anyone requiring emergency care should proceed to Carbonear, Placentia or St.John’s, or make telephone contact with emergency services.
