Metro police got lots of help from witnesses yesterday after a person who was not welcome in the Torbay area turned up. The RNC say witnesses supplied them with enough information to arrest a 37-year-old man on numerous charges.
The charges include dangerous operation and theft of a motor vehicle, drunk driving, failure to remain at the scene of an accident and breaches of probation.
He was held at the Lockup overnight.
