Team Gushue has a new Newfoundland-based sponsor.

Pennecon will be partnering with the rink with a Title Sponsorship of Brad Gushue, Mark Nichols, E.J. Harnden, and Geoff Walker.

The Gushue rink, often revered as one of the greatest rinks in the history of curling, has won gold and bronze medals at the Olympics, four Brier titles, and a gold and two silvers at the world championships.

The construction and industrial company will be supporting the boys for the next 4 years, with the Pennecon name on the front and back of the new orange jerseys.

With longtime member Brett Gallant moving on, and E.J. Harnden coming in, the re-brand is looking like a new area for Team Gushue.

Gushue calls it a new chapter that they’re excited to get started with Harnden and Pennecon.
