Registration for next year’s Cain’s Quest opens today.
The endurance snowmobile race normally runs every two years, however this year’s installment was cancelled due to poor weather conditions. Due to the cancellation, organizers have decided to go ahead with a 2024 race.
As of 10:00 a.m., registration will be available on Cain’s Quest’s website for all those who wish to compete and will cost $3,500 before tax.
Operations Manager of Cain’s Quest, Sarah Hensgens, says they have had quite a bit of interest from teams that competed this year.
She says veterans from previous races have shown a lot of interest in returning, as well as rookie teams that have never competed before.
Hensgens says they have not officially confirmed the race as it is dependent on provincial and federal funding.
