A 29-year-old Bonavista man has been charged for his alleged connection to a rash of thefts in the town.
Ryan Keats was arrested Sunday night in relation to thefts from a number of vehicles in the area.
He was on a number of court-imposed conditions, including a daily curfew, at the time after being arrested less than a week earlier in relation to a theft at a home in the town.
Police say a number of stolen items were recovered at a vacant property. Those items have since been returned to their owners.
Keats appeared in court yesterday on charges of theft under $5,000, trespassing at night, and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.
Police in Bonavista have increased patrols in response to the rash of crimes, and are encouraging any victims to make an official report.
