Forecasters are keeping an eye on a messy system which will move into parts of eastern and southern Newfoundland tomorrow. The day begins as rain in the morning, but then turns to snow in the afternoon.
Meteorologist Allison Sheppard says it won’t be a significant snow fall in the afternoon but what does come down will fall in a short period of time around the afternoon commute, especially on and near the Avalon Peninsula.
Up to 5 cm is coming tomorrow afternoon but more snow will come down tomorrow night.
A low pressure system in the Gulf of St. Lawrence will bring high winds to parts of Labrador, and the Northern Peninsula.
