The west coast is gearing up for a busy season ahead at Marble Mountain.
General Manager Richard Wells says all equipment has been inspected, with numerous repairs done in the off-season, including restoration of the Black Mariah chairlift that had been down for nearly five years.
The lift has undergone a number of upgrades, including cable replacement and the installation of new seating. He says having it up and running is a game changer that allows visitors easy access to many of their beginner trails.

He says their two other lifts are running perfectly. All they need is a little help from Mother Nature to get people back on the slopes.
Wells says crews have their work cut out for them when it comes to making artificial snow, but they’re ready to tackle the season.
