Police in Happy Valley-Goose Bay are investigating after a number of residential units were ransacked in overnight break-and-enters.

Sometime between January 30 and January 31, a suspect or suspects broke into six units at Mom’s Place (35 White Crescent) in the town and causing over $200,000 in damages.

Suspects shattered windows, smashed toilets to pieces and destroyed various appliances and furniture, leaving debris scattered across the floors. Police say water lines were also severed and items including televisions were stolen.
