The Grand Falls-Windsor fire department made quick work of a shed fire in the community Saturday evening.

The blaze on 8th Avenue was close to a home and an adjacent commercial building.

Fire crews had no time to spare. They quickly knocked down the fire as radiant heat melted siding and cracked the bedroom window of the nearby home.
