WestJet is adding a new, non-stop service from St. John’s to Hamilton, Ontario to replace a similar route previously offered by Swoop.
The carrier is introducing the new route as of May 17 with five flights weekly until October 14.
Swoop integrated its operations into the WestJet Group last fall.
The CEO of St. John’s International Airport, Dennis Hogan, says officials are delighted with another route to Ontario, the airport’s largest Canadian market.
Meanwhile, WestJet resumes it’s non-stop service to Tampa, Florida on Sunday, March 17 with weekly flights until June 2.
