The town of CBS has identified two areas of the community for potential ATV use in a pilot project now in the works.

The town is currently looking at Seal Cove Road to Garden Road to provide improved access to the Seal Cove ATV staging area, and Anchorage Road to Chute Place to allow access to a trail at the end of Chute Place.

Outside those areas, ATVs would also be allowed to use adjacent roads within a 1 km radius.

Drivers will have to carry a valid license, registration and insurance and abide by posted speed limits.

The town has two public information sessions scheduled on the changes – one at the CBS Lions Clube on Tuesday, March 26th at 7 p.m. and the other at the Parsons Rotary Clubhouse on Wednesday, March 27th at 7 p.m.

Residents are also encouraged to submit their feedback to town council by Friday, March 29th.
