Police are investigating damage caused to equipment at World Energy GH2’s data site in Mainland on the Port au Port Peninsula.
RCMP say a number of solar panels, windows and a variety of equipment was damaged at the site.
The estimated cost of the damage is more than $5,000 dollars.
Police say it’s the second time the company has been struck by vandals; the first time was in January of 2023 when heavy equipment was damaged.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Bay St. George RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
