A man is facing charges of assault against a police officer after an incident at a home in Paradise.

Officers got word of a domestic disturbance around 8:15 last evening.

While there are no details as to what transpired, the 42-year-old was arrested on three counts of assaulting an officer and two counts of breach of probation.

He was held for court.
