The provincial government is inviting public input on a new high school assessment and evaluation plan for Newfoundland and Labrador.

The province is looking at alternatives to final exams which make up a significant portion of a student’s grade.

The province’s aim is to modernize the way in which a student’s abilities and understanding of the curriculum are assessed.

Submissions are being invited on the engageNL website. Written submissions can also be emailed at highschoolassessments@gov.nl.ca.
