A 36-year-old man is facing dozens of firearms-related charges following an assault in Paradise early Saturday morning.
RNC responded to a home in the town just before 6:00 Saturday morning to find a woman with injuries.
The accused was arrested while attempting to flee the scene.
Police located two handguns – one of which was loaded – numerous magazines and ammunition, a 12-gauge shotgun with ammunition, and numerous other rounds of ammunition during their investigation.
About $20,000 in cash, soft body armour and pepper spray was also seized.
The accused, who was on a firearm prohibition order, has been charged with assault, choking, pointing a firearm, use of a firearm during the commission of an offence and dozens of other firearms-related charges.
