Premier Andrew Furey is tied for second in the latest gauge of public support for premiers across the country.
The Angus Reid Institute’s latest survey of approval ratings shows Manitoba’s Wab Kinew leading the way with an impressive 66 per cent.
Furey, along with Alberta’s Danielle Smith and B.C.’s David Eby are next, in a three-way tie at 46 per cent, though the survey notes Furey’s support has dropped nine per cent since the previous quarterly survey in June.
However, Angus Reid also noted margins of error for each region, which amounted to seven per cent in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The online survey of almost 4,000 adults was conducted between Sept. 12-18.
