Newfoundland and Labrador is the latest province to announce that it is removing American products from liquor store shelves.
Flanked by Finance Minister Siobhan Coady, Justice Minister Bernard Davis and CEO of the NLC Bruce Keating, Furey announced that it’s not an action they want to take, but says action is necessary to stand up to Donald Trump and his economic threats.
“Make no mistake” Furey told reporters from the NLC store in Howley Estates, “these are actions of a bully, and unless you stand up to a bully, you’ll continue to be bullied.” Newfoundland and Labrador is responding by removing American products from NLC store shelves.
