A man on the RNC’s wanted list tried but failed to give officers the slip last night.

Police spotted the wanted man in the backseat of a car during a traffic stop just before 2 a.m.

When backup arrived, the man bolted. He ran to a nearby home and tried to barge in through the door, but it was locked.

After a brief struggle, officers were finally able to take him into custody.

The 48-year-old has been charged for resisting arrest and breaching his release order.

He was held for court.
