Homeowners in Trinity Bay are waking up without power this morning.
The outage includes a wide swath of homes from Whitbourne and along Route 80 to Dildo.
Roughly 1700 homes are without electricity, and Newfoundland Power says “equipment problems” are to blame.
They do not have a timeline for restoration.
