The contract for the long-awaited school slated for Kenmount Terrace has been announced.
Olympic Construction was awarded the $41.9 million contract for the new K-7 school which will also include space for pre-Kindergarten.
The three-story, 11,800 square metre facility on Ladysmith Drive include 43 classrooms with a capacity for approximately 860 students.
Plans for the school were first announced two years ago, with an initial date for completion by September of 2026.
