The culture and artistry of newcomers will be put on public display in the capital city this week.
The work and cultural heritage of newcomers to the capital city region will be displayed in the Foran Green Room at St. John’s City Hall this Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in recognition of World Refugee Day.
The Association for New Canadians is also organizing a number of additional activities to promote cultural exchange and build community connections.
An exhibit of visual art will also be on display from now to July 11th in Wyatt Hall at St. John’s City Hall and is open to the public.
