A man who had been breaking into cars in broad daylight has been arrested.
The incidents happened on Empire Avenue in St. John’s just after 2:00 in the afternoon.
When RNC officers moved in to nab the cagey character, he made a run for it.
The 24-year-old is now facing charges including breach of probation, mischief by interfering with the use of property, resisting arrest and possession of stolen property.
He was held for court.
