RNC is investigating after a woman was attacked by a stranger in Bowring Park this past Sunday.

Police were called to the area near the soccer field around 11:30 that morning after a woman was attacked by a man she did not know. He had bolted into the woods before officers arrived.

The woman sustained injuries, the extent of which were not disclosed.

The man is described as at least 6’0″ tall and around 160 lbs. He was shirtless at the time, but had a black t-shirt tucked in the back pocket of his jean shorts.

Police are seeking any information that may help them track down the suspect, including any witnesses and video footage from the area of Bowring Park between 10:30 and noon on Sunday.
