The RCMP are looking to identify two ATV drivers who they say were driving through areas under mandatory evacuation in Conception Bay North.
Evacuation orders are still in place for Small Point–Adam’s Cove–Blackhead–Broad Cove, Kingston, Western Bay, Ochre Pit Cove and a portion of Northern Bay, and it is “essential” that people stay away until the all-clear has been given to return.
Police say defying the order puts everyone in danger and hampers response efforts.
Tickets are being issued to people who enter evacuation zones without authorization.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
