An injured hiker had to be airlifted to the Health Sciences yesterday afternoon after running into trouble on the East Coast Trail near Maddox Cove.
The Rovers Ground Search and Rescue Team assisted RNC and NLHS in locating the hiker and getting them to hospital.
The Rovers’ helicopter rescue team found the hiker and got them to an ambulance.
