A man who tried to steal an entire shopping cart full of items from a business in Mount Pearl yesterday could have picked a better time to do so.
An RNC officer was at the business on a separate investigation when the crime unfolded – about 2:00 in the afternoon.
The 54-year-old was charged with theft and released to appear later.
